These classes are being run for young and adult learners. They will assist with running a budget, running a business successfully and great life skills for understanding finance for our daily lives.

Home Economics sessions. Today, with inflation etc., most households are feeling the financial squeeze.  There are a wide range of skills our Home Economics kaiako can share for this, including but not limited to: making and maintaining a budget, food shopping and healthy cooking for less cost, clothes shopping and alterations, reusing and repurposing items you already have.  

We also have Accountancy. Fiona our wonderful Accountant has more Bookkeeping Class before she gets busy with end of year financials. So pencil this in for a follow up from Budgeting, Tax Calculation / Planning and Balancing your bank account. These skills are useful in your home or business budget. We previously held a great Accountancy/Bookkeeping Class where we learnt about end of year tax returns, how to code and interpret our bank statements to prepare for our accountants, and how to enter this data into a spreadsheet.
